This drives me nuts! Do you know how to read???Rating: (votes: 0) But one thing that drives me ABSOLUTELY nuts is when somebody leaves a comment for an OP that is so totally off base from what the OP was stating that it makes me wonder if the person acutally has read what the OP acutally wrote!!!!! Seriously people...use your eyes!!! ![]() Ha! I know what you mean, but sometimes the conversation goes a bit more off topic than the original post topic. I am guilty of this myself .When another topic arises, it just seems easier to reply to that topic instead of opening a new thread. I know this must be frustrating to the OP, but the thread is, most of the time, interesting reading. The OPs seem to take it in stride. I have seen a new topic emerge from the original post and then that topic becomes as interesting to the OP as the original post. It is just the way conversation goes, I suppose. HEY! I made a rhyme! I do it all the time! Let's talk about rhyming now... Comment:
Which thread are you referring too?

Glad you got that off your chest

Sometimes if the thread is very long, it can take on a whole new meaning by how other posters have interpreted it. Do agree though that its helpful to read the OP first then peruse the rest of the comments.

Most patients I have been involved with know how to read. What part of the country is OP from?

Case in point. : Sometimes I catch myself making a mistake like this, but I usually come back and indicate that I figured it out. :

There is also some responsibility of the person posting to know this is an open public forum where people post opinions to what is posted. There should be some expectation that someone will respond to what you wrote, hence the "reply" button. That is just the nature of a discussion forum. This is a little different than a blog although with some blogs you can also comment on what is written. As with any discussion, something posted may remind someone of something else that might sidetrack the thread a little. If all the threads just had the original post or the only discussion allowed was limited to one thing and one opinion, that might lead to a very boring forum. There would be no need to call it a discussion forum.
