MDS NURSEHi everyone, I am new to allnurses.com I look forward to getting to know you and discussing topics. I am a LPN. I have been a LPN for 13 years. I worked in pediatrics, ob/gyn, home health and the last 8 yrs as a charge nurse in LTC. I just transferreshould I call in or not?I'm a new nurse and am orienting on an oncology unit. The patients on the unit are extremely ill and many are on neutropenic precautions.I caught a bug and have a fever, and it's obvious if you hear me talk that I'm sick. I feel like total crap.
