Question about meth use in native american communities

I remember hearing how devastating meth has been in the Native American communities. Back around 2003-2007, there were numerous articles detailing the fact that Mexican drug cartels were targeting Indian communities to sell and distribute their meth and it was having devastating consequences on the young people living there.

I was just wondering for anyone who may know, is it still such a problem now in 2011? I'm just curious and truly hope that its not so prevalent now as it was back then.
