Funny things that happenRating: (votes: 0) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() so what are some other funny things that have happened to you ? When I was 19, I was in new employee orientation for my first real big girl job (as a lab tech). We were at lunch and the a few higher ups were sitting at a table diagonal to the cashier, just to say hey, introduce themselves (ya know, seem personable and welcoming). I reach in my purse to get my wallet to pay, and as I pull it out, guess what fell out...my birth control pills.Ugh. Wow. WOW. I still feel embarrassed thinking about it. Bless them, they tried not to show me how much they wanted to bust out laughing. Comment:

i walked into the ER after i got stung by a wasp (i'm allergic). I have had anaphylaxis in the past. Normally my reactions are very slow, so i had time to drive myself to the ER. I walk in, with my ice pack on my arm. I get in the room RIGHT away, i suddenly get ahead of everyone else despite the fact i'm fine. other than my hives. So i'm sitting in the room with the nurse, telling her everything. the doctor comes in. I told them i took 75 of benadryl, and i feel fine. well with my history of anaphylaxis after wasp sting TWICE he wants to admit me to the hospital for monitoring. This is because in the past both of my reactions occurred more than 10 hours after i was stung, we were on hour 3.Anyway...long story short, i refused to be admitted to the hospital. Our conversation pretty much went:Me:"I really don't need to be admitted Doc____. Just prescribe me 60mg of prednisone i'll take today. Tapper it off for a 5 day course, i'll take my benadryl and give myself my epi-pen if i experience any breathing issues. I promise i'll come back if i need to use my epi-pen"doctor: "Nurse?"Me: "Yep"Doctor: "I'll write the orders"
