Disappearing threads?

I can't find a thread I was following. Do moderators sometimes actually delete them rather than just locking if things get heated?

Yes they remove them if they get particularly vile or nasty.

We have had some trouble with the site too today so if you can tell me what thread it is, I'll be glad to get back with you.

Some get moved to more appropriate forums, but still on AN....maybe a search in the AN Google bar? It's just for AN Just saw your post count- you probably know this But will leave it for some who don't

yeah I'm having problems with AN tonight too. I'm trying to search for topics in the "archives" and every search result I click on says "bad response from server". UGH.
