Applying for RN-BSN....

....and I'm not sure how long my "statement" is supposed to be on the application. I have a little more than half a page typed up and was planning on doing 1 whole page until I re-read the intructions and started thinking an essay may not be what they're looking for. This is what it says:

*Please attach your professional goals statement describing your reasons for pursuing a BSN and/or MSNdegree, a copy of your current registered nursing license, and a copy of your current driver's license.

I can't speak for every program, but generally, the statement of goals etc. is an essay. I am in a RN-BSN program now and I believe mine was less than 2 pages double-spaced.

Comment:
Upon applying for the RN-BSN program, my statement was less than 200 words. For the MSN program 200 words was the limit. These are people just like us, nurses, so just get to the point.
