Question...Rating: (votes: 0) Should I reply back to a welcome letter? I just got a job(finally) and the person who will train me emailed me a welcome letter. thank you guys. I would write a reply. That was a very nice thing for them to do. Most people wouldn't have taken the time. Comment:
I emailed her back. I think it wouldn't hurt to say thank you for a warm welcome from my nurse educator.thank you.

I agree it was a very nice thing to do...on both your parts. The emailed welcome letter you received and the fact you replied. I would have done the same thing.

Oh yes, good to reply. Usually in professional relationships you respond to kindness with the same level of kindness. No need to reply with anymore than an email thank you.

Indeed, a reply email could not and should not hurt you. It is very professional of you to express your appreciation and with that same level of kindness, it will jumpstart a good professional relationship for both of you.
Comment:
I would if you feel you'd like to. I always appreciate being acknowledged.
