Practice in a different state

A friend of mine is planning to move to another state. She is a RN and heard that to transfer her license to a different state, she would have to take NCLEX. Is this true?
No. NCLEX is a national exam, she doesn't need to take it again. She has to apply for licensure with the new state's BON.

Comment:
No. I just moved from Texas to Maryland. You just have to transfer (endorse) your license to the new state. Have to stay on top of them though! I went as far as obtaining a temporary license along c applying for the endorsement.
