quite nervous about clinicals- i'm a slow learner

I'm starting my maternity rotation soon. I will have 2 days of maternity, 12 hours each day then peds 12 hours for 2 days. this will be my first long day rotation. i'm very nervous. i am a slow learner and need time for things to sink in to understand. can anyone give me some advice?
learn to learn faster?i don't really know what you mean. what do you think you need to do? could you elaborate on that?
