placement services or apply directly?

Hi, I'm pretty new on this site, so I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice. Is it better to look for my first job by myself, or go with a placement service (agency)? <br>
What is the difference? Will there be any difference in income or benefits? <br>
Is there a charge that I need to pay to these agencies? <br>

no difference in income or benefits; the hospital pays the fee to the agency to find them help. i'd be astonished if hospitals would bother to do that nowadays, when there is no shortage of nurses beating down the doors for work. do it yourself and elimate the middleman.:d

Depends on how confident you are with your own sleuthing skills. Maybe you could do both.
