Is it crazy to want to quit my job after 2 days???Rating: (votes: 0) Crazy? No.Prudent.. yes.No one can learn the routine, policies and procedures in 3 days.It is a set-up for failure.I would still give it a month or two.. while looking for something else.Good luck Comment:
Thats the thing. I really didnt tell the other place no. They were still checking my background and called today to offer me a job, but I was at the other job and could not answer the phone. But I did call them back and left a message, so they would call me back tomorrow!!!

Ask for more orientation. If they say no, then resign and see what the other job has to offer. An experienced nurse needs more than three days of orientation !

Three days of orientation I like my license way too much. I agree ask for more and then run for the hills!

3 days for a new grad or for anyone is not enough!

Thanks everyone for the responses. I thought I was the only crazy person to think so. I have one more day of orientation and then I will see how this goes!!!

When I did question it about more training, HR told me that they could give me two more days if payroll allowed it.

Hey. Firstly you should thank god that u got a full time post right after graduation. Here in Quebec it takes years before getting FT days. The ppl who hired you are not dumb they know what they are doing if they think for what you will be doing doesn't need much training then lucky you. Second don't hesitate to ask questions as much as possible and in a week you will be a pro you will know things from the top of ur head. Good luck

I forgot to add for a new grad things are easier as they are fresh outta school

Three days if you were a travel nurse with lots of experience; a new grad? No way. If you do leave, ask in the interview how long the orientation is next time
