What basic math problems are involved in OB?

And what is something to take into consideration for particular, most used meds in OB?

Just a little curious, not so familiar with this field.
if you are looking for a hospital or other direct care nursing specialty where you won't have to do so much arithmetic and algebra, you won't find one. people having babies are often on other medications besides those related to childbirth. there really is nothing to be done for it except to learn the math you need to know.

So it's basically the same stuff as Med-Surg? Calculating rate of flow, drip rate, bolus, and so on? That's no problem. All I wanted to know was if there's special math problems involved in OB that I should know about.
