Per Diem Question....Rating: (votes: 0) Thanks! Dear HR, As of May 31, 2012 I will be resigning my full-time position on A4. However, I have enjoyed my job and Ms. Supervisor has asked me to consider continuing per diem. Accordingly, I will begin working per diem on June 21, 2012. Comment:
first of all congratulations on getting hopefully a better position. needless to say, regarding your question on giving your 2 weeks noticed it varies from one facility to another, i would definitely check the rules and regulations book in your facility. wishing you the very best in all of your future endeavors... aloha~

Best of luck in your new position.You need to inform your employer of your request to change your status.It would depend on the company policy if 2 weeks notice is required .

Check with HR to see how much notice you have to give to change status...usually it's two or three weeks. If there is no set guideline, you can't go wrong with two weeks.That being said, be prepared to be told, "see ya" if they don't have a per-diem spot and/or don't want you as a per-diem.Congratulations on the new job!

depends on the facility-where I am now you have to actually apply for an open job to be changed-even if going to part time or per diem. If they don't have a slot open, you can't decrease your hours.
