Quincy College 2010 full time RN Program

I just got accepted into the Quincy College RN program that starts Fall 2010 and would like to meet others who are in the program as well for the fall. Would also love to hear from others who have taken this program through Quincy College and their experiences. Thanks for your time!

Hey Guys! I'll be starting full time with you come September. I'm really anxious to get started. I've heard a lot of good things about the program. Do you guys have any experience in the field already? I'm completely new to it but I'm trying to take a CNA course so I can get licensed and work as a CNA while I'm in school. See you in Sept!

Hello,I'm excited and anxious as well. You can add me on facebook if you'd like (Barbara Torres (UMass Network)). I'd like to get to know people in the program so that we can answer eachothers questions about the program or share information we find out about it. Only experience I have in the field is that I've been working as a CNA for about four years now, since my freshman year at UMass Amherst. I'd like to find a job and place to live closer to quincy since my commute at the moment would be about an hr long just to get there. Anyone know what the schedule would be like for the nursing classes, would a long commute be hard to deal with?

Has anyone heard anything about when we sign up for classes and all that? My work has said that they'll see if its an option for me to stay working here part time but I'd need to know what times and how many days a week clinicals and classes are. Anyone heard anything about the hours? I just got something from QC about my transfer credits but that's it since I got the acceptance letter.

Congrats on getting in! I'll be there. We order our scrubs and sign up for classes as long as you have all your medical stuff filled out I guess.

my appt isnt till end of june so i cant sign up till after that but thatll be cool 2 get scrubs!

I would like to get more info on the Quincy College RN Program? What hours are the full time vs. part time program?Thanks!
