can a dmard, specifically [font="calibri"]etanercept(enbrel) have an impact on a nurses' ability to take a new position in a ped's hospital?

nursing student

I don't have the answer to that, perhaps your prescribing physician will. Since you would be immuno compromised however, you may need to choose an area of nursing that does not expose you to so many sources of infection. You don't have to disclose your medications when you apply for a job, but for your own health and safety, you just need to be careful what you expose yourself to.Best of luck!

Comment:
we can't give medical advice. if you're immunosuppressed, though, and you're going to find yourself with a lot of communicable disease, you might find yourself a patient sooner rather than later. ask your rheumatologist for chapter and verse.
