Child care for 2 12 hr nighter while sleeping?

1 I'm switching hours back to nights and it's been a while. What do other night shifters with kids do for child care when you are sleeping during the day? I'll only be doing 2 nights, not 3. If I am going back that night I obviously need a full day sleep. But I am wondering if I could get away with sleeping half a day when I'm not going back. What do y'all do? How many hours you have covered? And do you use baby sitters or day care?
Where were they when you were working days?

If I don't have to work that night, i usually go home and sleep about 3 hours, then get up for the rest of the day. this way I am able to go to bed at a "normal" time that night.
