Back in NSG after one year; Meds labs skills what to know

HI everyone, i'm back in nursing after one year. I graduated a year ago, but never worked in the field and after one year, I have decided to start using my degree. During this past year, I have forgot a few things when it comes to passing certain meds and what you need to know about the meds along with which labs to monitor. In order to start working on my unit, I have to pass a med test and a dosage calculations test. The hospital has sent me a list of meds to know. This includes side effects, patient education, labs to monitor, etc. I will list a few of the meds and if anyone can help me I greatly appreciate it! I'm so nervous and so excited to go into nursing one year after graduating! I'm not sure what to expect! Here are a few of the meds: Acetylsalycylic Acid, Rifampin, INH, Narcan, Flue vaccine, Lasix, all insulins, Heparin, coumadin, beta blockers, ACEs, Claratin. Thanks!
Know your classes of Meds vs trying to memorize each individual Meds. Know what to monitor for those classes, for example always check BP with blood pressure Meds and most diuretics. H/H and platelet counts for blood thinners. WBC count with antibiotics. Potassium with diuretics. Etc. Know the basics and you will do fine. I bet a lot will come back to you. Good luck!!

Comment:
Thanks so much! That advice honestly helped me so much because I was trying to recall every little thing about each med on the list.
