SNIF or HOSPITAL OUT OF STATE

Hey guys! I'm taking a poll and hopefully i can get some feedback on this to help me make a solid decision. Any feedback and insight will be greatly appreciated. I am a new grad (born and raised in the USA, achieved BSN in the Philippines) in Northern California. I'm sure most of you know how hard it is for an RN new grad to get a job here in California. My goal is to someday work at a major tertiary hospital (SF gen, Kaiser, Washington Hospital in Fremont California, etc.) I just got hired at a local SNIF but had the opportunity to take a job in Nevada. The hospital in Nevada is way out in the sticks and its tele ward has only 8-10 beds and they haven't upgraded to electronic charting. I didn't follow up on it due to my family situation and the fact that i had so many more hospitals to contact here in the state of California. I took the AHA guide and started contacting EVERY California and Nevada (I'm looking at other states but those two are my priorities) hospital and asked as to when their next new grad program will be, and the ones that not only reply but seem interested in me and actually ask for my resume are the rural hospitals. I've talked to several RN's and 50% have said "YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE CHANCE AT THE NEVADA HOSPITAL! Experience is experience no matter what state or what kind of hospital you are in! Recruiters at major hospitals hate looking at the word SNIF on a resume!" while in the other 50% have said "The snif is fine! It's a matter of money and resources and rural hospitals are lacking in both, especially salary-wise. Stay close to home and wait for an opening at your dream hospital". SIGH! I'll still proceed with my current job BUT i have not stopped contacting hospitals in Cali and out-of-state. So what do you guys think? Local snif or the out-of-state rural hospital? Should i be jumping at the opportunity to go get experience in a hospital out in the sticks and out of state, or just tough it out at the only place that hired me after a year of waiting and searching? Thank you guys for your time and any info will be greatly appreciated. Have a nice day!
