Nervous Nursie

I start a new job as a RN at a local hospital on a step down cardiac unit. I really do not know what to expect as the only other places I have worked at are nursing homes (as a LPN) and a Doctors office...but I figured I should learn all I can while I am still in the mood to do so...

Is there anyone who has ever worked on a step-down cardiac unit? Is the stress level there intolerable? What is it like in the hospital period? Thanks in advance
