Coursera - The Science of Safety in HealthcareRating: (votes: 0) https://www.coursera.org/course/healthcaresafety MOOC: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massive_open_online_course That sounds fascinating. Browsing the site, I've found so many interesting courses. Have you taken other classes? Were they beneficial? Comment:
Because I was finishing up my MSN I haven't completed a class yet. My husband however too a Quantum Mechanics class before he started his Master's program to see if he could manage the coursework and work full-time. My mom has taken several classes including Mathematical Thinking and the History of Einstein, but often gets bogged down in the math portions which are a bit beyond her. My father-in-law has done the Affordable Health Care Act class, as well as several classes in movies and music and loved them. I believe they are beneficial if you are interested in them because they are taught by some amazing professors one would never see without paying big tuition money. They are beginning to integrate classes you can get credit for as well, but I haven't investigated that very far.Tait

Thanks for mentioning this. Found a few courses that I'm going to try for supplemental information as I begin my grad entry program soon.

I've signed up for a couple of classes. I just completed my RN-BSN, so I actually have a little free time. Thanks for posting!
