RN with surrended LVN licenseRating: (votes: 0) Back in 2009, working as LVN, I made a documentation mistake, for which my LVN license was put on probation that only recently become effective, starting June 22. Since that incident, I graduated RN school, got RN license, got a job as RN and working in the hospital where I am doing very well. I am very tempted to surrender my LVN license, since I will not work as LVN anymore and I do not want to pay $4300 fine. Did anybody have a similar experience? I wonder if having surrender my LVN license can negatively affect my RN license. ???? I am so sorry for your predicament.....but as per the Terms of Service we cannot give legal advice. I would seek an attorney familiar with board/licensing issues......or.....The American Association of Nurse Attorneys (TAANA) | LinkedInIf you carry malpractice insurance (all nurses should) they also give license advice....check with them....Thread closed |
