Going back to school

Hey everyone!

So I need a little help from my fellow nurses out there.

I always knew I wanted to go back to school to get my Masters degree. But I've been putting off. I realized, I need to just do it and stop "planning".

So I'm starting to do my research. And it looks like I'm going to have to take a couple classes as prereqs for the graduate program I want to apply for since it's been more than 5 years since I last took the classes.

I know I have to take these classes before I apply for the program I want. But, can we go to a community college and just take one class? It seems like I have to apply just like all the other students. But, there's all these prereqs for the classes I want to take, which I've already taken in nursing school.

Just need advice from those who are in the process of going back to school or who have gone back to school.
