Help nurses.. please

hello everybody. I am a rn from india. cleared my nclex in july but yet have no jobs. applied to number of hospitals and nursing homes in new jersey, but no positive outcome. have applied for license in new york goin to get it in a month hopefully to broad my area of search. can anybody please give some valuable suggestions. I have 1.5 years surgical and trauma are experience from india. I completed my bachelors in nursing in 2011. worked in a hospital in india from sept 2011 to march 2013. and then came here and no job yet. HELP please
