Finally got a job!

9 So I went into town to apply to another PDN/HH company. I admit I wasn't too psyched, but I got there filled out the paperwork & took the tests & my spirits were a little lifted. By the time they gave me my offer so was pretty happy & couldn't wait to start working again. I was on my way home & got a phone call for an interview for a local prison later that day! It was totally unexpected! I had applied but I wasn't expecting anything.

I had applied there before & interviewed but never heard anything back. So when I got the call I was excited but didn't count my chicks before they hatched. So I turned around, got there 30 minutes early & waited. My interview went SUPER well! The HSAs (there were 2) were super nice & the DON was super friendly & I got along GREAT with her. Needless to say they sent me to go get my drug screen done & I'm waiting to see when my orientation starts! I'm soo excited!

I was depressed, I didn't think I would get another job. Thought I would be stuck doing PDN. You never know. Fill out EVERY application. You never know who will call you & when!

I stopped telling friends and family about jobs I applied to or had interviews since they all seemed to fall through...I've become quite superstitious. Good Luck again!
