Administrative Leave

I wanted to know if anyone has been placed on administrative leave and the reasons why. Did it turn out good or bad? I did some research online and found little information, any information on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
This completely depends on the reason and facility.....In my experience it leads to termination.
