Can I work Per Diem while on paid admin leave?

I was put in Paid Admin Leave while an investigation is underway. It's been almost two months. It's nice getting paid and being able to get stuff done in my personal life but I am a bit bored. I've had multiple job opportunities that I've turned away while this goes on.

I currently have an opportunity to work per diem at a place which I'd really like to do but I don't want to end up some how losing out on my original pay check and be stuck looking for a full time job while not making full time pay. Not really sure what to do.
If you are on paid Admin leave that is lasting more than two months, I think you should be more concerned about what the investigation is about. You might actually need one of those other jobs, or a lawyer, when all is said and done.
