Job I was offered has been re-postedRating: (votes: 0) I would call HR and find out. If they did repost it after offering it to you without notifying you, then that says something about the type of facility it is.Where was it reposted though? Was it posted to the outside or internally? They may have realized they failed to go through the proper procedure to posting it externally. Comment:
Never give a notice to transfer without a written offer. A verbal offer is just that--they said, you thought.....Learned this the hard way.The pp brings up a good point. There are instances where the position has to be posted internally, then externally for set amounts of time.I would call HR. State that you are of the understanding that you recieved a verbal offer from them regarding this position, and ask them for a written offer that you can present for transfer. I would also ask what the procedure is for getting a timeline for transitioning. If they have chosen not to hire you for this position, (and that can be dependent on a number of factors--most of which are for a variety of reasons that don't necessarily say one thing about you as a nurse or a leader) then be sure that you rescind your transfer immedietely. And know going forward that the "word" of someone is not worth a thing unless you have it in writing. Which goes against what most people think is the right thing to do--but the current climate is such that the bottom line far outweighs the right thing to do time and time again.Keep us posted.

Seems they re-posted it before they offered it to you so I would try not to worry too much.................
