Vent Patients

Does anyone have any tips, tricks, or helpful information about taking care of a vent patient???
What specifically do you need to know? Adult?Pedi?Acute?Chronic?Facility?Home?Nurse? CNA? Student?Homework?

I guess you could say pedi, its teenage case. Home Health. Im freaking out. I know I'm an excellent nurse, but as an LPN we don't get to do much Vent related stuff here. Any advice would help. I found other topics but all of their help links had expired online so they no longer are working.
