"Wrinkles" - A Toons' Version of Aging

1 "Wrinkles" is a 1 hour and 20 animated movie based on Paco Roca's comic of the same title that depicts life in a nursing home. It portrays the friendship between Emilio and Miguel, two aged gentlemen in a nursing home. Their goal is to avoid ending up on the tope floor of the nursing home which is known as the "lost causes" floor.

"Whether you find "Wrinkles," an animated look at creeping inanimation, amusing or terrifying will depend almost entirely on which side of 50 you are currently parked. Even the youngest viewer, however, will sense the tragedy coming off this film in waves: It takes more than cartoon characters to buffer the horror of human decline."
