Hi Everyone!

I am just curious as to what the policy is in the facilities where everyone works regarding the use of patient sitters. What criteria must the patient meet to be assigned a sitter? What type of unit is this on? Do you think the policy/criteria is effective in meeting patient safety needs or do you think that it goes to far providing a sitter for patients who really do not need them?
