"Strive for 5" at Firestone???Rating: (votes: 0) Customer service surveys have permeated corporate America. They're on the back of fast food receipts. Sometimes I'm asked to rate the call center representative whom I spoke to on the phone. Ebay has used the feedback system for many years in which the buyer and seller are asked to rate each other either positively, negatively or neutrally. When my father purchased a new vehicle many moons ago in 2003, the car salesman kept repeating the following words: "You'll receive a customer satisfaction survey in the mail about a week from today, so please rate me highly."Essentially, customer service surveys are ubiquitous in this brown-nose day and age. And I find them highly annoying. Comment:
It wasn't just the survey that got to me (they are everywhere nowadays)...it was the catch phrase "We strive for 5!" Brainwashing thing that PG (like if you say it enough time people will score a 5 no matter their experience) that floored me!

Please, I can't buy ANYTHING, it seems, without the cashier circling the info at the bottom of the receipt which I'm supposed to reference when doing their online survey. Which I never do.

you will pay for that tire change even though the service was bad. It's not as if Firestone hq is going to deny reimbursements for bad rating. Same should be for medical reimbursement

I saw a note at my local starbucks "This location is "red" due to guest satisfaction scores. Our goal is 80%. We are at 65%, blah blah blah" My first comment to my husband was "Doesn't Press Ganey make enough money from hospitals?". I thank god every day that the hospital I work for doesn't pay PressGaney a single dime.
