moving to Texas from non compact state

Anyone recently moved from a non compact state to live and work in Texas?

Am moving from Indiana to Texas. Have temporary RN license for Texas, but
having trouble with fingerprint/background check process. Was originally told
this process takes 10-15 days. Now being told 4-6 weeks!!!

Would like to hear from other RN's who have been through this process in
2014 Thanks!
I did it. Got my license pretty quick. I think the whole process took me about a month. What's with the delay with the fingerprints?

I moved from NY to TX three years ago. No problems. I DID begin the process as soon as we decided to move.
