I might be taking a job as an exempt nurse at a VA. I was wondering how vacation works. It sounds like I will be covering fir orher exempt nurses when they are on vacation, and they will di the same. My question is are you paid overtime for these coverages? Also, are you paid holiday oay for working holidays?
