OSHAcademy Preventing Workplace Violence

Hi I'm interested in ER nursing. I have been researching other certificates I can obtain in order to build up my resume. Would this OSHAcademy Preventing Workplace Violence online course be a waste of time and money? http://www.oshatrain.org/courses/mods/720e.html

Hi and welcome to AN!As to this certification, it is an OSHA cert - however, most hospitals that I've been affiliated with require their own specific workplace violence staff education. Things ERs look for: CPR, ACLS, a peds cert like PALS, PEPP, ENPC, a trauma cert like PHTL and the ability to manage chaos!Best wishes getting your ER job.
