Im trying to write about issues in the workplace and "bullying" is a great topic

Im trying to write a paper about issues in the workplace and "bullying" seems a great topic to work on. The only problem is...how can we fix this problem? As a professional...we need to act as one...this will be difficult to solve...any suggestions?
Bullying is such an accepted part of many workplace cultures, so the simple solution is to make it an unacceptable part of our working lives. Unfortunately, we cannot use simple solutions to solve complex problems.

Bullying in the workplace often comes from people in high positions, then filters down, creating a very toxic work environment. Attitudes reflect leadership.Also, a very Unprofessional work place, specially if done in front of other employees or worse yet...patients. Any form of bullying is wrong, no matter who it comes from, and work places should have a Zero Tolerance policy for it.

There's actually been a ton of research done on solving this problem. Try looking under "horizontal violence" for some studies. Confronting the bully head on has been shown to be wildly successful.

If you do a literature search on the topic, you'll find tons of stuff. As TheCommuter said above, it is a very complex problem and will require multiple interventions.
