Seeking Information on Children's National Medical Center for New Graduate Nurses

Hi I am a nursing student set to graduate in May and am extremely interested in pediatric nursing. I am especially interested in Children's National Medical Center but don't know much about it. I have been applying to as many RN I and RN I/II jobs as I can but can't seem to get an interview. I didn't know if anyone who currently works there can give me a better idea what they are looking for in candidates? I love kids and try to make that come through in my cover letter! I also have EMT and ICU patient care assistant experience. Or if there are any new grads out there who have gotten interviews already how long did the process take for you? I am also just looking for general information about the nurse residency program, units, and nurse satisfaction and retention. If anyone can help with any of that I would greatly appreciate it!!
