I have yet to graduate, but I have a great deal of friends who graduated a semester before me who ALL have landed jobs within 1 month of passing nclex. Hopefully I will have the same luck! I live in south-east Texas. (Beaumont)

1 week before graduation (contingent on passing NCLEX). Many of my classmates had jobs a month or more before graduation. I feel like a lot of people miss opportunities because they wait too late to start applying. Many programs interview new grads due to graduate in May in February, March, or April before graduation. If you wait until after graduation, you've missed that window altogether because those programs have already hired everyone they are going to hire. You're just going to have to compete with the December grads for the February spots instead.
