I'm Thinking of Doing a 14 month LVN program. Are programs of this length any good?

I am considering applying to a school that only offers a vocational nursing program, and it is quite pricey but you are finished in 14 months...I'm also considering another school where the program is 18 months. Are fast tracked programs extremely difficult? I'm 22 years old and I have been a CNA for a little over a year. Has anyone on here ever done a program like this before? What was it like and how difficult was it and was it worth the money?
My LPN program in 1976 was 12 months long so 14 months definately doable. Good Luck! Was it worth the money: PRICELESS!
Comment:
I attended an LVN program in 2005 that was 12 months in length, and I never had any major issues.

Go for it! Most LPN programs are about that length.

Mine was 12 months also. The great part was that it was at a community college so all my pre-reqs for the LPN program transferred over to the RN bridge. Good luck!
Comment:
Look for an LVN program at a community college. Not only will you save tons of money, the credits will transfer and some of your classes will count for the RN program at that school and others in the community college district. If you are willing to pay the high price of a proprietary school, then go whole hog and get an RN license. JMO.
