New LPN starting in Nephrology?

I would like some opinions from others out there on the matter of starting as a new LPN on the Nephrology floor. Is it too specialized for a newbie or should I take it and run? I'm not worried about the degree of difficulty I might encounter as I like challenges. Just want some idea what experienced nurses think.
I think that would be a good starting point. as good as any med-surg or other floor. Nephrology patients have multi-system problems, many are diabetics, cardiac patients, etc. I would think that you are going to learn a lot. They are usually on tons of meds, you're your pharmacology skills are going to be enhanced. I wouldn't worry. Good luck.
