Merging Two Careers

Are there any nursing/human resource professionals that can give me help with this challenge? I have worked as a home healthcare LPN for a total of 21 years. I went back to school for a masters in counseling and graduated in 2002. Shortly after earning counseling licensure in one state, I moved to another that requires 22 more months of supervision for licensure. After six years of school, I am now working again as a LPN because of the counseling licensure issue. I am frustrated because most of my experience is in nursing and any counseling job with pay comprable to nursing pay would require state counseling licensure. Are there any suggestions out there as to how I could merge the two?
