cna question about dining room

I use gloves to clean up plates after residents have left the dining area. Today I was litteraly jumped on harshly by a over the dept and over all depts, and over those departments, (regional person) what ever her title. She stated that it was disrespect to the residents, that they were not gonna give me a disease for just eating. Can I get fired for this episode? She really made a big deal out of it.
