national guard nurses

hi,
i'm very interested in joining the national guard as a nurse. im currently going to the university of iowa and majoring in nursing. i meet with a recruiter in two days and just have a few questions..
- well first, what should i wear to the recruiting appointment?
- what will the process be of joining? ive heard i go in as an officer and dont go to boot camp but something called an officer training program? whats the difference?
- are nurses more likely to be deployed within the nation or to iraq or other overseas locations?
- any other informtion you have would be appreciated too.
