Ok..I'm new here so I hope for some responses. I have been a nurse (LPN) since '98. I've worked in a nursing home, which I enjoyed. My main area though has been Home Health. I've been with the same company for about 10years. I have worked my way up from $10 and hour (I'm in SC :stone) to about a lil over $16 an hour. I went from a field nurse to adding Office Manager to my title. The problem is for the last few years I've been wanting to go back to school for my RN, but dunno what I'm gonna do when I get it. My office has no need for an RN so they are not going to bump my salary up bc I went and got an RN license. And Lord know I DON"T have a desire to work on any hospital floor. So what other options do I have? Most shifts everywhere are now 12 hrs and some weekends. My job now I work 8am-5pm M-F. Perfect with 4 kids and hubby. I don't know if it's worth it although I wanna further my education. Any advice?
