Chances of Getting into acute care after LTC?

I just got a job into an LTC/Subacute care facility . My concern is that I am a new grad and I do not have any acute care experience. What are the chances of me getting into acute care after this LTC experience? I am concerned that most acute care facilities states explicitly that they need ACUTE care experience. Thanks for the response.
It really depends on the area where you live and the demand at the time you decide to make the switch. Imo someone that can successfully handle the pressures and variety of skills needed for LTC is a great candidate for other specialities. Good luck.

LTC facilities have evolved from the type of patients once seen there. There are still the 'typical' nursing home patients but there are more people who need some therapy or wound care etc in order to get back home again. A new nurse can learn and practice many skills now in LTC. Congrats on the new job!
