Where to License

First I want to say thanks to everyone that helps!!
My question is what state should I license in first?
I live on the border of IN and KY. I have just graduated from an LPN program. If I license in KY (where there are more jobs) I have to put in 120 hours of apprenticeship before I get my license. If I license in IN, I don't have to put in the 120 hours. The problem is is that no one will look at me without my license, therefore making it very difficult to license in KY. I guess I'm just afraid that if I license in IN I cut my job opportunities by more than half.
Any advice would greatly be appreciated.
