What to do when my job calls me off?

Hello all, and thanks for reading my thread. I am a very new nurse in San Antonio, Tx and recently the hospital I work at has started calling nurses off due to a low census. Considering I have been working under my license less than 6 months, are there any part time jobs I may pursue during the summer months while this is going on? Thanks for any input.
See if you can pick up a per diem job at another facility--since you have some nursing experience under your belt, that might not be as hard as you think.
Use that time to job-hunt??? (But, seriously, I agree with the per diem suggestion.)
