LVN position while waiting results

I took the NCLEX-RN a while in california and am waiting for the results. I do have a LVN license and I was wondering is it a good idea to apply for LVN positions while waiting for the results? and when I do go for an interview, I will tell them I am awaiting for the results of the NCLEX-RN? I am afraid that I might not pass the exam and need to retake it.

I would not confuse the issue if you have enough money to live on until you are certain that you are an RN. Besides, jobs are hard to come by nowadays and you don't want to waste time on opportunities that may be LVN only, with no advancement possibilities. Good luck with your NCLEX results.
