Finally got a job!!

After almost a year of searching (hundreds of applications, several interviews!), I finally have a job offer. My unemployment insurance has just run out as well, so this couldn't have come at a better time. I thank God for my many blessings. To all those still searching for work, keep your chin up, be persistent and never stop praying. God bless you all and don't lose hope!!

Congratulations! Was it a New Grad position? Those are rare!
No, it actually wasn't a new grad position, it required 2 years experience! I actually attended an open house and was one of the few there wearing a suit, so they immediately wanted to talk to me based on my presentation. Once we got to talking they decided I had potential and took a liking to me. I was at the right place at the right time. I firmly believe job hunters should pound the pavement (go to recruiters, open-houses, job fairs, walk-in interviews) and not just rely on online applications. I applied to this company before and they never called me, meeting them in person made all the difference.
