Do nurses make more in Richmond?

I currently live in Newport News, VA and am making about $21.00/hr. I have almost 2 years experience on a medical floor with tele monitoring. My husband and I are considering moving inland a little to the Richmond area and am wondering if the salary is any different there. I have heard through the grapevine that it's a little higher. Any truth to this? Thank for the advice!
while I can't offer much information on richmond itself, I knwo you tend to make more in bigger areas/cities. For example, a friend of mine lives and works in york PA and makes about 24/hour no exp. I started near Philadelphia PA and am starting at 35/hour. big difference being near a bigger city
