starting salary and raises.

Im supposed to be interviewing a RN for a paper for school. (im a senior in high school) but since I don't know any RN's i figured I would just answer the questions myself by doing research, the questions arent very hard. But im having trouble with the salary questions so any info would be very helpful.
What is your starting wage? (i live in PA and i think its about $24 a hr, is this right?)
Do you get yearly raises? if yes, how much?

I think you ought to do the assignment as assigned. Perhaps the instructors are not dumb and realize not everyone knows a nurse and this would be a good opportunity to interact with one, rather than just surfing the web.
